Spring Nails

Hello everyone!!
This past week the weather has been incredible hasn't it!! The sun has been shining, and for once it hasn't been raining.
And to top it all off, I've been on my Easter holidays, so I've been relaxing in the sun.
To celebrate, I decided it was time for a manicure! I decided some pretty flowers were perfect for this type of weather, as it finally feels like spring.
All the polishes i used can be found on your local high street

for the base color: Essie - Mint Candy Apple - £7.99
for the flowers : Barry M Gelly - Dragonfruit - £3.99
for the flower detail : Barry M - Shocking Pink - £2.99
 for the leaves : Revlon - Trendy - £6.49

I hope all of you are enjoying the beautiful weather, and treating yourself to beautiful manicures too!

Lots of Love
Imogen

Lip Care

Recently, as the weather has been so cold, my lips have not been in the best shape. They have been dry and chapped and peeling...you get the idea.
At the end of summer last year, my grandparents went to Lanzarote on holiday, and back with them, they brought for me, the best lip balm I have ever used. This moisturises my lips so well, and one application in the morning will keep my lips soft as a baby's bottom until lunchtime at the least!
It is so unfortunate that they don't sell this at any drugstores or on the high street at all. Its only available in the Canary Islands.
Luckily for me, my family went to Lanzarote again in February, so I stocked up!

If you ever find yourself on holiday in the Canary Island, I would recommend looking in any gift shops for this product because it has done me wonders!

Barry M Eyeliner Kohl Pencil

Hey Guys!
Sorry I haven't been posting a lot recently, its been busy at school.

For me, eyeliner is a key part of my day to day look, so its important that I have a good one.
Considering I use it every single day, I go through a lot of eyeliner pencils, so I don't want one that's too expensive.

This one is from Barry M , and it's available in your local Boots, Superdrug and many other drugstores.
For £3.99, it does its job really well.

The tip is soft, so it doesn't hurt to apply, and it has a smooth application, and it sharpens very easily.
The only problem with this eyeliner is that it rubs off easily, especially if you have oily skin. I would have to reccomend using a setting spray with this eyeliner, if you have oily skin, or to refrain from doing any strenuous activities that may cause sweat.
But for me, wearing it to school is fine and it lasts all day

I get this eyeliner in black, but it comes in a variety of colours including ; various shades of blue, brown, gold, white, hot pink and many more!

So if you're looking for a cheap kohl pencil perhaps for school, work, or for everyday use, I would reccommend this.

Lots of Love

High Street Nail Files

Hey guys!
To me, my nails are like the finishing touch of a perfect look, so I take good care of them. An important thing for me, is keeping them in the right shape, which means filing often. And my nails break occasionally, leaving a jagged edge which can ruin my clothes.
As you might see, I go through nail files so quickly, so I don't like to spend too much on them, which is why I buy mine from Primark.
Now I know Primark isn't a very "classy" place to shop at if you live in England, but you have to admit, they have some great prices in there.
These nail files cost only £1, and you get 4, as well as a cute little case which is perfect for your handbag or school blazer.

They last for a decent amount of time too (well the amount of time you would expect £1 nail files to last)

I think these are a great deal , and do they job perfectly, so  I would defenitley recommend them, even if Primark isn't your cup of tea.

Imogen

Currently Reading

Hey Guys!
I haven't got any new nails today so I decided to do a post on what I've been reading.
The book i just finishes is called Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan.

I have to say, this was one of the best books I've ever read. Its a story of two boys, both named Will Grayson, who come from very different households. We see them meet, under strange circumstances (at a porn shop)  and their lives start to cross.
This book is written from the perspectives of both boys, but one is written in all lowercase, so you can tell who is who. This was a bit strange for me at first, but it was really effective.
I won't give too much away, as you should definitely read it for yourself, but i recommend it 100%

Barry M // Dragon   £3.99
Barry M // Prickly Pear   £3.99
Seventeen // Heart Beat   £3.99

These are just a few of what I will be wearing this spring.
I'd love to hear what you'll be wearing too

Daisy Nails

Daisy Nails

Spring is my favourite season. I love the flowers, the weather, the fashion, everything! So today I decided to do black daisy nails, as we are getting towards that season.

All the polish I used for this design were high street.
For the base and top coats, I used a Natural Collection polish in crystal clear.
The black undercoat was a Barry M, in black
The white petals were Barry M in matte white
The yellow center was a limited edition Barry M polish which is not on sale, but you could use any
yellow polish.
Each of these polishes could be found at your local Boots, or Superdrug or any other drugstore, and would cost around £2.99 each.

I hope you like this design
